Most snakes eat rodents or birds after either killing them with venom or squeezing them to death in constricting coils. They mostly eat small animals because most snakes aren't that big.
One of different one in snakes is this one my friend:

The smallest of all snakes, the Threadsnake, eats the pupae, or eggs, of ants and centipedes. The largest snakes, the Pythons and Anacondas, have been known to eat, deer and pigs! Most snakes live off of insects, rodents, birds, eggs, fish, frogs, lizards and small mammals. All snakesswallow their food whole.
