1. R = R¹ +R² = 9ohm ( series)

2. I = V/R = 18 /9 = 2A

3. same as they are in series that is 2A.

4. V¹ = I x R¹ = 2 x 3 = 6V

V² = I x R² = 2 x 6 = 12V

1. R = ( 6 x 3)/ 9 = 2 ohm ( parallel)

2. I = V/R = 18/2 = 9A

3. pd across each RESISTOR are same

I¹R¹ = I²R²

I¹3 = I²6

I¹/I² = 2

I¹ = 2/3 x 9 = 6A

I² = 1/3 x 9 = 3A

4. pd is same that is = I¹ x 3 = I² x 6 = 18V.

5. in parallel more current is drawn.
