Since PQR is an isosceles triangle with PQ=PR, the perpendicular bisector (PX) of the third side(QR) only can bisect the triangle into equal parts.While in case of the other two perpendicular lines(QY and RZ) the triangle will not get bisected in two equal parts. Therefore PQR is symmetrical about PX.
