Mitosis :

  • In this type of division, the chromosomes replicate themselves and get equally distributed in two daughter nuclei that is the chromosome number in the parental and progeny cell becomes the same.
  • Therefore it is known as equational division.

Prophase :

  • This phase is known as the initiation of condensation of chromosomal material which during the process of chromatin condensation becomes untangled and finally the centriole begins to move towards the opposite poles of the animal cell.

Metaphase :

  • It is the phase that starts after disintegration of nuclear envelope in the late prophase.
  • The chromosomes spread out through the cytoplasm of the cell and are seem to be shortest and thicker.

Anaphase :

  • It is known to be the shortest duration phase that is only two to three minutes and is also very simple stage.
  • At beginning of this phase, splitting of chromosomes takes place.

Telophase :

  • This is considered to be long and complex phase like prophase, the final stage of mitosis.
  • At the onset of this stage, the spindle fibres disappear.

Mitosis:-

____________

  • Mitosis cell division .
  • It is a division in which one parent cell divides into two identical daughter cells .
  • There is same number of chromosomes maintained in each cell division .

_________________________________

Prophase:-

  1. It is the first phase.
  2. Each chromosome has already duplicated .
  3. There is formation of two chromatids.
  4. The chromosomes has became short and thin and are clearly visible inside the nucleus.
  5. The two sister chromatids remain attached to each other at a small region called centromere.
  6. the nuclear membranes and the nucleolus disappear.

Metaphase :-

  1. The duplicated chromosomes arranged on the equilateral plane .
  2. Each chromosome get attached to a Spindle fibre .
  3. Chromosomes line up in one plane.

Anaphase:-

  1. Two sister chromatids of each chromosome separate and are drawn apart towards opposite poles pulled by storing.
  2. baby come in the form of spindle fibres.
  3. Centromere attaching the two chromatids splints.

Telophase:-

  1. Nuclear membrane is formed in this phase.
  2. Two sets of daughter chromosomes reach opposite poles.
  3. Spindle fibres disappear .
  4. Nucleoli reappear .
