Kings and chief built a sentence to improve agriculture in the times what would they do now?

Witth less water now, the Kakatiya rulers and chiefs in my opinion i think would opt for modern methods of irrigation like drip system and sprinkler system.

Or maybe the kings would do the same thing they did before like opt for irrigation systems of very less cost.
