\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}

Assumption

Rakesh age be p

Therefore,

{\boxed{\sf\:{Kiran\;Age}}}

= p + 24

Ten years back :-

{\boxed{\sf\:{Kiran\;Age}}}

= p + 24 - 10

= p + 14

{\boxed{\sf\:{Rakesh\;Age}}}

= p - 10

Situation :-

5(p - 10) = p + 14

5p - 50 = p + 14

5p - p = 14 + 50

4p = 64

\tt{\rightarrow p=\dfrac{64}{4}}

p = 16

{\boxed{\sf\:{Rakesh\;Age\;=16\;years}}}

{\boxed{\sf\:{Kiran\;Age}}}

= 16 + 24

= 40

\boxed {\boxed {\large {SOLUTION}}}

Let the age of Rakesh be x.

Kiran's will be ( x + 24 )

Before ten years

Rakesh = x - 10

Kiran = x + 24 - 10

= x + 14

Now,

According to Question

5 ( x - 10 ) = x + 14

==> 5x - 50 = x + 14

==> 5x - x = 14 + 50

==> 4x = 64

==> x = \dfrac {64}{4}

x = 16

______________

To Present ages :

( put the value of x )

Rakesh = 16 years old

Kiran = 16 + 24

= 40 years old.
