The age of Rakesh = xThe age of Kiran     = 24 + x
10 years back:Age of Rakesh = x - 10Age of Kiran     = 24 + x -10
                         = x+ 14
⇒ x + 24 + x = 5 [ x + 14 ] ⇒ 2x + 24     = 70 + 5x⇒ 3x = 46⇒ x = 18The age of Rakesh = 18
The age of Kiran    = 42
