it's very easy to do this by yourself by taking kirti age as x and her mother's age as 5x
5 years later both Kirti and her mother becomes older and both ages are increased by 5 . so you have to put 3(x + 5 )=5x + 5
as the question is saying five years later kirti's mother will be three times as old as her daughter Kirti.
after solving the equation you can get the value of x and kirti's age also then you will multiply five to the age of kirti to know her mother's present age .
