KMnO4 dissolution in Concentrated H2SO4 results in explosion due to the vigorous reaction produced by KMnO4 when it react with Conc. H2SO4. However, Conc. H2SO4 have very much high strength and hence is highly acidic. So, definitely for this reason the dissolution results in explosion.
