Find the cost of 1 mango:

12 mangoes = Rs 30

1 mango = 30 ÷ 12 = Rs 2.50

Selling Price of 1 mango:

Loss = 6% x 2.50 = 0.06 x 2.5 = Rs 0.15

Selling Price = Rs 2.5 - Rs 0.15 = Rs 2.35

Answer: 1 mango is sold for Rs 2.35

Greetings..!

Rate at which a dozen mangoes were bought(C.P) = Rs 30

Percentage of loss he suffered = 6%

By using formula, SP = 100-loss%/100*C.P = 100-6/100*30 = 94/100*30 = Rs 28.20

We know, 1 dozen = 12

SO, SP of 12 mangoes = Rs 28.2

Clearly,SP of 1 mango = 28.2÷12 = Rs 2.35

Answer : Hence , S.P of 1 mango = Rs 2.35
