Dear Diary

I had been to the Blind School near my school as part of my social service and moral education class. I was very touched to see the students there. They were all between five and fifteen years of age. Although they did not have sight, they did not allow this handicap to pull them down. They were trained to do almost all their activities by themselves.

A few kids came running to me and asked me to tell them a story. When I asked them if they never felt bad about their problem, they laughed it off and said that they were lucky not being able to see the evil acts in today’s society. Meeting them made me realize how gifted I was and how I had not considered it a blessing to be endowed with the power of sight.

Dear Diary,

Today I went to visit a blind school as a part of my social service and moral education. I was really touched to see the children there as they were really happy even without the eyes. Then I thought about ourselves that having every blessing from GOD we are not happy. We should be thankful for the blessings we have and learn from the children who do not have everything they ask for.

They were really hopeful about life and their future, I learned a lot of them and I think I will be having gratitude for everything happening around me in the near future. I am glad I went there and met these amazing kids, now I will live my life differently.

Now I am going to sleep as I have to go to school tomorrow.

GoodNight Diary.
