From the independence of India till now it has progressed a lot and it is progressing at each moment.

Of course, we can say India has devoloped a lot since it's independence in 1947. India @70 is full of oppurtunities.
India is one of the fastest growing economies of the present world. It has achieved multi-faceted socio-economic progress during the last ten years and still developing further.
It has so many achievements mainly in astrophysics and sports. It has experienced green revolution , industrial revolution, white revolution etc.. It has had many industries such as iron and steel industry, textile industry etc.
Even though, the poverty level in India is still high, it had considerably decreased since our independence. Many poverty alleviation programmes were set up in order to tackle the issue / the biggest challenge of India, Poverty.
Corruption being an obstacle in its path, we can't say India has devoloped from the high rate of corruption.It's ever increasing.
So, India of course had some good progress. But, is still a devoloping country. It had to stand up to the rest of the world as the devoloped country. In order to acheive that, we youth should be hard-working.
