Given, m varies directly with l

Which means if m increases, l will also increase.

If m = 2/3, l = 5

If m = 16/3, l = ??

We know that, 16/3 = 2/3 × 8, right.

So if we multiply 8 on both sides,

2/3 × 8 proportional to 5 × 8

=>m = 16/3 then l = 5 × 8 = 40

l = 40

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️

hey there

Given, M varies directly with L (direct proportion ) .

so as given  M = 2/3 ,  L = 5If m = 16/3, l = ?

16/3 = 2/3 × 8

therefore multiply 8 on both sides, 2/3 × 8

proportional to 5 × 8=>m = 16/3

l = 5 × 8 = 40

hope it helps you
