Answer:

In Africa, 72 million children are not attending school. They are too busy working at home to be able to go to school. Other reasons children are deprived of education are gender issues, religion, war and health. 30% of children raised in poverty do not finish high school. People who do not earn a high school diploma by age 20 are 7 times more likely to be persistently poor between ages 25 and 30. Children who grow up impoverished complete fewer years of schooling and earn much lower income than people who did not grow up poorPoverty. Many studies have shown that poverty and a lack of education are strongly positively correlated. Since poor families may not be able to send their kids to school, these children may suffer from significant educational inequality.
