let number of 100 notes = 2x  , number of rs 50 notes =3x and number of rs 10 notes = 5x  ,        therefore 100*2x +50*3x +10*5x = 4 00 000 => 200x +140x+50x = 4 00 000 => 400x =400000    =>x=400000/400  => x= 1000 ... therefore number of rs 100 notes = 2x = 2*1000 = 2000 and number of Rs 50 notes = 3x = 3*1000 =3000 and Number of Rs 10 notes = 5x=5*1000 =5000 .  hope this helps you.

chandu1711: 400000=2X=3X=5X; 400000=10X; SO X=40000 NOW SUBSTITUTE X VALUE IN 2X 3X AND 5X
ramya01: notes of denomination Rs:100= 400000*2/(2+3+5)=>800 , notes of denomination Rs:50= 400000*3/(2+3+5)=>2400 ,notes of denomination Rs:10=400000*5/(2+3+5)=>20000
