Lala Lajpat Rai was one of the main extremist leader and freedom fighter of India. He faced many hardships while fighting the liberation of India. He sacrificed his dreams and life for the cause of India.
He left his home and toured foreign countries like UK and US to highlight the atrocities of Britishers in India. He faced torture and imprisonment from 1921 to 1923. In 1928, he was leading the anti-Simon Commission, where the police lathi charged the protesters and he seriously got injured. Even after such injuries, he said, "I declare that the blows struck at me today will be the last nails in the coffin of British rule in India." Later he succumbed to his injuries on 17th November 1928.
