because tropical rainforests in South America was dense and wide therefore only some amount of light will passes in ground.And mostly it is rainforest so rain occurs daily in these Forest therefore it does not favour the condition for living.also many poisonous snakes and dangerous animal were found there therefore it is dangerous to live in these forests
