Example: Two deuterium nuclei can fuse together to form a helium atom by releasing a large amount of energy.

The steps involved in generating electricity in nuclear reactors are:
1)Uranium atom splits releasing energy so fuel becomes hot. This heats the water and turns it into steam.
2) This steam turns the turbine.
3)This turbine when rotates turn a generator and electricity is produced.
4)This electricity goes to the transforms to produce the correct voltage.
