No. of red balls = 4
Blue balls = x
∴ Total balls = 4+x
Probability of picking blue ball = 1/2
∴ From question,
x/4+x = 1/2
Solving this, we get:
2x-x = 4
⇒x = 4
∴ There are 4 blue balls .
