full form of IPS is Indian Police Service.

It is applicable to only the personnels who have attended the UPSC civil service examination if they are qualified they move to the next round later which they become trained IPS officer.


full form of IAS is Indian Administrative Service.

this service is considered to be the previous civil premier service of India.
