Explanation:

We know that both compounds are ionic compounds.

In CaO, calcium loses 3 electrons to oxygen which creates strong intermolecular forces and it forms a lattice.

in NaF, sodium only loses 1 electron to fluorine so weaker forces of attraction are present in comparison to CaO.

So, naturally CaO will have greater lattice energy than NaF....
