i)SMS portal for farmers is also being used to spread awareness of facilities being extended to farmers and also to give advisories. More than 100 crore SMS messages have been sent to farmers in 12 languages by thousands of officers & experts (of Central Government, State Governments, SAUs, KVKs etc

ii)Under the scheme, the Government of India provides a financial assistance to the farmers of Rs 50,000 per hectare every three years for organic inputs, certification, labelling, packaging, transportation and marketing of organic produce.
