law of conservation of momentum says when two object collide with each other their momentum gets conserved.then how can we say that a bullet firing from a gun is an example of law of conservation of momentum ,no collision is taking place.

We can say that because when we fire the bullet, the recoil velocity of the gun would be equal to that of the bullet and the gun will apply the same amount of force on us that is equal to that applied by the bullet. So, as a result , the momentum of both the gun as well as the bullet will conserved.

it means you have used third law of motion

The law of momentum conservation can be stated as follows. For a collision occurring between object 1 and object 2 in an isolated system, the total momentum of the two objects before the collision is equal to the total momentum of the two objects after the collision.
