LCM

For finding the LCM of fraction, we need to find LCM of numerator and HCF of denominator.

LCM formula for Fractions =\frac{L.C.M. of  \ numerator}{H.C.F \  of  \ denominator}

L.C.M of \frac{10}{3} ,\frac{20}{9}, \frac{5}{15} can be calculated using above formula,

= \frac{L.C.M \ of\ 10, \ 20,\ 5 }{H.C.F. \ of \ 3,\ 9,\ 15}

L.C.M of 10, 20 and 5 is calculated using prime factorization,

10=2\times 5\\\\20=2\times2 \times5\\\\5=5

So required L.C.M will be 20.

H.C.F of 3, 9 and 15 can be calculated using prime factorization,

3=3\\\\9=3\times3\\\\15=3\times5

Hence HCF required is 3.

Hence the required L.C.M of given fractions will be \frac{20}{3}.
