Le Chatelier's principle states that when a change is imposed on a system at equilibrium, the equilibrium shifts to counter the change imposed on the system.

The change refers eg temperature, pressure, concentration, etc.

If there is a lower temperature on the reactant side, the arrow ie the reaction will go left hence increasing the temperatures of reactant and reducing temperature of products.

It will try to shift such that it attains this balanced level.

And vice versa.
