Step-by-step explanation:

Let sunita's age be x

and Ashima's age be y

According to question....

x = 2y........ (1)

(y-6)4 = x+4

4y -24 = x +4

x -4y = -28........ (2)

From (1)=>

y = 2x

x -4y = -28

2y -4y = -28

-2y = -28

(y = 14)

Put y = 14 in (1)

2y = x

14× 2 = x

(x = 28)

(x, y) = (28,14) is your answer

Sunita's age = 28

Ashima's age = 14
