1. Yes, President Manuel L. Quezon's story is inspiring indeed, especially because of the circumstances that he faced during his younger days. Despite all the difficulties, he has achieved so much. One cannot think that the president of a nation could have risen from such a humble background.

2. The message that he wants to convey to the people through this speech is that

a) if one is determined enough, the goals become achievable. If the son of a poor farmer can become the president of a nation, nothing is impossible.

b) each person has the capability to do great things. Do not underestimate yourself or consider yourself unlucky.

c) education is a very potent tool. Good education can change people's lives.

3. I feel that I am very privileged to be able to get a good education without having to worry about the fees. There are so many things that we take for granted, without realising that many people have to struggle for the same comfort at home and education. I feel fortunate and empowered. All I need to do is focus on my goals, without worrying about things. I am in a good position to make my dreams come true.
