Hey
Key Terms:
Stimuli
Association
Response
Conditioned
Unconditioned
Classical Conditioning:
Associate Natural Responses to Stimuli with OTHER THAN the natural stimuli eg You FEAR the 'BHOOT'. Now you see the CAT with the BHOOT in film. From next day, you fear the Cat too.
So, associating other stimuli makes you respond the same way to the other stimuli as well. That's a Learned Behavior.
Operant Conditioning:
You Act upon the environment and learn.
You enter your College first Day. You are fearful and nervous.
Now, you flirts along, question away and you get supporter and friends. You don't feel NERVOUS. You acted upon the environment and learned a new behavior.
