Leave of a healthy plant were coated with Vaseline.Will this plant remain healthy for long ? Give reason for your answer.

no, it will soon die as due to the oily skin, sunlight and the gases won't be taken by it thus photosynthesis cannot be performed and no respiration. thus it will die

No it will not remain healthy as the coat of Vaseline does not allow and gas (o2 or co2 )or even water and sunlight go in and out it acts as a barrier to the leaf and the leaf will ultimately die due to tho lack of o2 and the process of photosynthesis does not take place .
