Answer:

lencho had complete faith in God but lacked faith in humanity due to humans selfish behaviour/nature

Explanation:

Lencho had complete faith in god. after the destruction of his crops he neither express hard sorrow nor be hopeless.he believed that no one dies of hunger, and god must be present their to help him with his problem.when he wrote a letter to the god regarding his problem related to the destruction of the crops and want a help of some money. everywhere in his mind he believes that god will surely send money to help him.this innocent behaviour shows that he had complete faith in god.he lacked faith in humanity as he believed that the other sum of money was stolen by the officials of the postoffice and called them a bunch of croocks. he lacked his faith in humanity due to human selfish nature. no human thinks of the other being ,what they just want is their profit.somewhere any being helping other fellow has its own personal motto .so lencho thinks that due to their own wants and needs the postoffice officials stole his money sent by the god,and henceforth lacked in faith over othe fellow human being or humanity

The story 'A Letter to God' written by GL Fuentes enforces our faith in God.

Lencho's faith in GOD

Lencho was a farmer who worked like an ox in his field for a good harvest so that he can take care of the basic need of his family. But suddenly the nature turn violent.Every thing in his field get destroyed, it was left nothing to feed his family, he could see a bleak future of him and his family. He thought of only one hope: the help of GOD, whose eyes, as he has been instructed, see everything, even what is deep in one's conscience. He decided to write a letter to GOD demanding him hundred pesos to sow his field again.Lencho had firm faith in GOD and know that he would not deny him in what he had requested.

Lencho's lacked faith in humanity

He then went to the post office to drop his letter in the mail box.In the post office when the postmaster read the letter he laughed and tapped his table.Never in his career as a postman he has known that address, but soon he was moved by Lencho's faith in God and decided to help him. They were not releated to him in any manner it was just an act of kindness and a Nobel jesture. when the mail arrived he counted the money and found that there were only thirty pesos whereas he demanded hundred pesos .Lencho in his blissful ignorance thinks that the rest of the money must have been taken by the post office employees. Then he wrote a second letter in which he demanded the God to send the rest thirty pesos but not through the mail as the post office employees are a 'Bunch of Crookes' .

This shows that Lencho have faith in GOD but lacked faith in HUMANITY.

Hopes this answer helps you all.
