If your length and breadth of the board is r cm ,

Then area of the board is r^2

If 10 elements are to be fixed in it then

The elements area should r^2 / 10

But this would not be possible

The question says both length and breadth is r cm so we can divide the square only in square numbers like 4 or 9 or 16.

We cannot identify the length of the elements without the proper information of the dimensions of the bulletin board
