The volume of the cylinder is 672 cm³.

  • The length and breadth of the paper is 33 cm and 16 cm respectively.
  • Now, the paper is folded around its breadth to form a cylinder.
  • Therefore, the circumference of the base of a cylinder is equal to the breadth of the paper and the height of the cylinder will be equal to the length of the paper.

Circumference = 2πr

16 = 2×(22/7)×r

r = (28/11) cm

  • Now, volume of the cylinder is given by

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

  • Substituting the values r = (28/11) cm and h = 33 cm in the formula, we get

Volume = (22/7)×(28/11)²×33

Volume of the cylinder = 67 cubic cm.

  • Volume of the cylinder is 67 cubic cm.
