breadth = 2 7/8

First we sould have to convert the mixed fraction into unlike fractions :-

5 3/4 = 23/4

2 7/8 = 28/8

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b)

= 2 ( 23/4 + 28/3 )

Lcm of 4 and 8 is 8

so,

= 2(46/8+23/8)

={89/8}

= 2/1 (89/8)

= 89/4
