{ \sf{ \huge \underline{Given}}}

{ \rm{ \large{The \: lenght(l)  = 35 \: cm}}}

{ \rm{ \large{The \: breadth(b)  = 12\: cm}}}

 { \rm{ \large{let \: the \: diagonal  = d}}}

{ \sf{ \huge \underline{Solution}}}

{ \rm{ \large{  Using \: Pythagras \: Theoram \colon}}}

{ \rm{ \large{ {l}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {d}^{2} }}}

{ \rm{ \large{ {(35)}^{2}  +  {(12)}^{2}  =  {d}^{2} }}}

{ \rm{ \large{  \implies{1225} +  {144}=  {d}^{2} }}}

{ \rm{ \large{  \implies1370=  {d}^{2} }}}

{ \rm{ \large{  \implies {d}^{2} =  1370 }}}

{ \rm{ \large{  \implies {d}=   \sqrt{13706}  }}}

{ \rm{ \large{  \implies {d}=   37.}}}

{ \tt{ \large{ The \: diagonal \: is = 37.}}}
