Length of a rectangle exceeds its breadth by 4 m. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 84
find its length and breadth

Answer:

Take the breadth as x, so length becomes x + 4.

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( L + B )

84 = 2 ( x + x + 4 )

42 = 2x + 4

38 = 2x

x = 19
