Take the breadth as x, so length becomes x + 4.

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( L + B )

84 = 2 ( x + x + 4 )

42 = 2x + 4

38 = 2x

x = 19

hello here is your answer by Sujeet yaduvanshi ☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝

GIVEN THAT:)
Perimeter of rectangle=84m

then,

Let to be Length =x+4
Breadth =x

So follow the instructions,,

2(L+B)=84
2(x+x+4)=84
2(2x+4)=84
2x+4=84/2
2x+4=42
2x=42-4
2x=38
x=38/2
x=19

then,

Breadth =x =19 m
Length=x+4=19+4=23m

that's all
