Let breadth be = x
then length be = 2x - 16

perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 2x-16+x )

= 4x - 32 + 2x

32 = 2x

x = 16

Breadth = 16

length = 2x-16 = 32 - 16
= 16

hence length and breadth both are 16 cm.......

hope it helps you....

Abhay111111111111: thanks but the answer is wrong
HStar6389: then whats the answer
Abhay111111111111: length = 28cm breadth = 22cm
Abhay111111111111: this sum is of linear equations
