(20)²+(15)²=c²

400+225=c²

625=c²

c=√625

c=25 cm.

Length of rect. = 20 cm

Breadth of rect. = 15 cm

When the diagonal will divide the rectangle it into a triangle ABC

Than by Pythagoras theorem

AC2 = AB2 + BC2

AC2 = (15)sq. + (20)sq.

AC2 = 225 + 400

AC2 = 625

AC = Root 625

AC= 25

Hence the length of both the diagonals

of the rectangle is 25 cm.
