let breadth = b m

so length = 3× b = 3b m

now. area of rectangle = l × b

3b × b = 432

b ^ 2 = 432/3

b^2 = 144

so b = square root of 144 = 12 m

so l = 3× 12 = 36 m

so l = 36 m and b = 12m

hope you helped

let length be x and
let breadth be x
according to the question
length will be 3x
and breadth will be x
area of rectangle=l×b
but given that area of rectangle is 432
now
432=3x×x
432 = 3 {x }^{2}
432 \div 3 = {x}^{2}
144 = {x}^{2}
x = \sqrt{144}
x = 12
now breadth = 12m
and length = 3×12
=36m
