Solution!!

The length and breadth of a rectangular field are given in the question. According to the question, we are asked to find the area of the rectangular field.

Length = 51/4 metre

Breadth = 11/7 metre

We have to find the area so we will use the suitable formula. We know that,

Area = Length × Breadth

Area = (51/4) m × (11/7) m

Area = (561/28) m²

Area = 20 1/28

(Note:- Never leave your answer as an improper fraction.)

More information about rectangle:-

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

Opposite sides are parallel and equal to each other.

Each interior angle equals 90 degrees.

Diagonals bisect each other.

Diagonals are of same length.
