Then, hour hand = 3cm
Area swept in one hour is a full circle.
Area swept by minute hand,
Radius ,r = 4cm
Area = πr²
= π x 4²
= 16π
Area swept by hour hand,
Radius,R = 3 cm
Area = πr²
= π x 3²
= 9π
Ratio,
Area swept by minute hand:Area swept by hour hand
16:9
