length of rectangle is 6 CM more than its width if it its length and breadth is decreased by 3 cm the area of new rectangle is decreased by 36 cm find the original length and breadth of the original rectangle​

Let width be Xcm

Length=x+6

area=l*b

(x+6)*x

x^2+6x

now, new length x+6-3=x+3

breadth=x-3

according to question,

(x-3)(x+3)=x^2+6x-36

x^2-9=x^2+6x-36

6x=27

x=27/6
