Let breath of rectangle be x

Length= x+20 sq

Area=l x b

120= (x +20) (x)

120= x^2 +20x

0=x^2 + 20x -120

Answer:

Length = 12 Units

Step-by-step explanation:

Breadth = x

Length = x + 2

Area = 120

x(x + 2) = 120

x^{2} + 2x = 120

x^{2} + 2x - 120 = 0

(x + 12)(x - 10) = 0

x = (-12), (10)

x can't be a negative

x = 10

Breadth = 10

Length = 12
