  • The function of Intestine is to digest food completely.
  • Herbivores eat Grass, Leaves etc.
  • These things contain Cellulose (A complex compund) which is more difficult to break down compared to meat.
  • Small Intestine is Herbivores is Longer than that of Carnivores so that food stays for longer time in it which gives gut bacteria more time to break it donwn.
