AB +Bc+CD+DA = 120m
AB+ 48+17+40 =120m
AB +105 = 120m
AB =120-105
AB = 15m
Area of trap. = 1÷2 × parallel sides × h
= 1÷2 ×(40+48) ×15
= 1÷2 ×(88) ×15
= 660m²
