Given,

Length is 3 units more than breadth

perimeter is 15 units

To find,

Length and breadth

Solution,

Let the breadth be x

length = 3x

Perimeter = 15 units

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

15 = 2(3x + x)

15 = 2(4x)

15 = 8x

15/8 = x

1.87 units = x

Length = 3(1.87)

= 5.61 units

Thus, the length of the rectangle is 5.61 units and its breadth is 1.87 units
