Answer:

Let breadth of the rectangle is x.

Then its length will be 2x−16.

According to the problem,

2(length+breadth)=100

2(x+2x−16)=100

or, 6x=132

or, x=22.

Then length is

=2x−16

=44−16=28 cm.

Answer:

length=22cm

breath=19cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, breadth of the rectangle is x.

Then its length will be 2x−16.

According to the problem,

2(length+breadth)=82cm

2(x+2x−16)=82cm

 6x=82+32

 x=114/6

x=19

Then length is

=2x−16

=38−16=22 cm.
