Here they say the length is 2 cm more than breadth
So, 2+y
Now,
Peremeter of rectangle = 2x(length + breadth)
So,. 24= 2x(2+y+y)
24=2x(2+2y)
24/2=2+2y
12=2+2y
12-2=2y
10=2y
10/2=y
5=y



Therefore, length=2+y=2+5=7cm
Breadth=y=5
