It may be this......

A=5i+3j+4k

B=6i-8j-k

A=root 5square+3square+4square

= root 50

B=root 6square +(-8square)+(-1square)

=root 101

A.B=(5i+3j+4k).(6i-8j-k)

=2

angle between A and B= cos theeta

=A.B/AB

2/root50 root101

QUESTION.

let a = 5i + 3j+ 4k and b =6i - 8j then |a-b| is equal to

ANSWER.

GIVEN.

a= 5i+3j+4k

b=6i-8j+0k

here I ,j ,k are vector along x,y,z axis

so,

a - b= 5i+3j+4k- (6i-8j+0k)

= - i+(3+8)j+(4-0)k

= - I+ 11 j +4 k

|a - b|= magnitude of a - b
 \sqrt{ { (- 1)}^{2}  +  {11}^{2}  +  {4}^{2} }

 \sqrt{1 + 121 + 16}

 =  \sqrt{138}

=11.74

abhishekcr717: thanks , this is the right answer
