Step-by-step explanation:

A ∪ B = A ∪ C

therefore,

n(A) + n(B) - n(A∩B) = n(A) + n(C) - n(A∩C)          equ. 1

in the question it is also mentioned as A∩C = A∩B

therefore, in equ. 1

n(A), -n(A∩B) and -n(A∩C) will get cancelled as they are equal to their respective terms

and finally we will have,

n(B) = n(C)

therefore, B = C

hope it helps!!
